no drag and drop for the movements, very slow computer player, and soooo easy to beat even in the "hard" playing mode, this app is very basic and disappointing …

Overall not bad. Would be nice to be able to drag the pip to the point instead of clicking with the mouse. Needs to be more challenging! Even playing on the hard setting you can win 95% of the time. Good for beginner to intermediate players.

This game is boss! Awesome job to the developers, you deserve a raise :)

I am not used to rated the AI of Backgammon games but of the 5 or 6 games I tried this one is the best. Nice interface on top of that. Great game.

Give this program about a 3.5 star; little slow to use, would like to see quicker play. Mostly I have noticed the computer just makes "stupid" moves, ie no brainer moves the computer will not make (it would make a different move that simply doesnt make sense).

The sound will not work on my Mac,. Too bad. The game looks pretty good otherwise.

The game is straightforward. classic backgammon and does what it promises to do. Good graphics.

The game runs well on my Mac but at the most difficult level the computer gets an incredible number of doubles making it nearly impossible to win. At the any other level, it’s nearly impossible to lose.

great game and graphics, very fast game play, but Ai is pretty stupid, makes alot of very poor moves even on Normal skill setting, too easy to win, Hard Setting is better, but it is equivelent to Easy/Normal setting and even at Hard setting Ai missed some obvious & Easy knockout moves, Also it seems like Hard setting gives Ai better rolls instead of better move skills, UNDO can be used to go back multiple turns, let alone one move, so allows you to cheat. Does not acknowledge Gammon or Backgammon wins, Still a great game overall for a Free game.

I’ve been a fan for some time. Backgammon’s earlier versions were much smarter. Please put back options to choose the degree of difficulty.

The graphics are not nice. There is anther where the graphics are better, but the game cheats - it’s the only one with a great look. As much as I love backgammon, I would not waste my money on any of them for now. Not till they invent one the looks good, plays good and does not cheat.

This is a great game for a novice like myself and the rolls seem random, unlike other backgammon games.

This game for the most part cheats. While the game plays as a fromidable opponent, it does not allow the program to be beaten because it often rolls doubles when the computer is in jeapordy of losing. This makes for a not so fascinating game. Even though the system can be beaten, it is not fair for it to roll doubles when it begins to lose. It seems to also throw the righ number when it is on the bar and there is an opening available. The game is good for passing the time however.

The AI does “cheat” and it becoms predictable. Regardless, it is very easy to beat which is good for new players using this app to learn and improve. It is frustrating though too because it becomes obvious that it has AI has a bias. Yet, it must also be in the opposite for at easy and normal levels in the game, it is consitently easy to beat the AI. The board and graphics are pleasent. It is short is a very good primary trainer for someone learning or to improve.
